Oh! Thou fobbing clay-brained clotpoles!

Yay! It's Friday! It's kebab time!

After what seems like enough time to raise a cow, kill it, skin it, chop it up and cook it, I have the brood ready and dressed up to the nines.

First we go to a playing area for children which seems to me more like a public open air coffee-morning.. but at night. Women gather around to gossip while the men dutifully run after the toddlers.

Then, after watching a few kids beat each other up and a mother sportingly taking a few photos of her son when he climbes on the 'roof' of a wooden playing structure about 3 metres high.. we fuck off to get some chow.

Driving along the "beautiful" Sliema promenade, I can't help but wonder what tourists come to Malta for.

Lo and behold, qui-si-sana is in the sea! WTF is going on there?

Most of the promenade between TGIF and the road leading to Bisazza steet is cordoned off! In the middle of the tourist peak season!! Absolute genius!

(No, it couldn't wait till autumn and winter, it wouldn't fit the "Piss off as many tourists as possible" agenda would it?)

Oh how it must suck to be a tourist!!! First thing you see as you come off your plane are road works. This after a whole summer last year of having most arterial roads dug up. The people who plan and put all this into action must be rocket scientists! What will they do when there's nothing left to dig up and pull down? Banish pastizzi?

But hey! Atleast we actually found a parking space away from the cttv camera. And the food was great, like always. Save for the table of ogling Pakis. Go back to your country you damn foreigners!
